MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Classroom and School Environment
1. Hold students accountable for high expectations of behavior and engagement that are ambitious and measurable.
2. Contribute to a culture of respect, enthusiasm, and positive rapport.
3. Manage student behavior during instruction, transitions and less structured time (e.g., recess, lunch).
Instruction
4. Assist the teacher in preparing instructional materials.
5. Tutor small groups and individuals, under the direction and using the tools/rubrics of the supervising teachers.
6. Supervise and support students during instruction, group work, independent work, etc.
Professional Responsibilities
7. Solicit and eagerly receive feedback from supervisor and team members to improve professional skills.
8. Maintain administrative duties on behalf of the teacher as needed (such as taking attendance, entering grades, scheduling parent conferences/parent communication, preparing student activities and assignments,
